Emerging Vineyard is a design for a winery in Napa Valley. Myself and two colleagues were finalists in the 2012 Arquideas Landscape Architecture and Wine competition. Our design earned honorable mention and featured a series of spaces that illuminated the process of winemaking.

The structure pulled the surrounding soil onto its roof. The grapes are grown on the top, then processed on the main level, and eventually aged in the basement.
