#DJBuckthundaz no. 4 – ‘Nam or The Conflict

📻 🎵 🎧 Here is my fourth mix: No. 4 – ‘Nam or The Conflict

The Vietnam War holds a strange and unique place. In the abstract, a standoff between two ideologies: Capitalism & Communism. In reality, an event of mass death and destruction in Vietnam. Somehow, I feel nostalgia for this era, even though I was not even born then. How is that possible? Why be nostalgic for a tragic event that I didn’t experience?

The answer: Music.

The music of the Vietnam Era is political, poignant, and in general just kicks ass. So many good songs. So many good bands. All rooted in the time-and-place of the 60s & 70s — The Psychedelic Era.

A time characterized by chaos, protest, art, drugs, sex, tension, experience, hate, and love. Enjoy the tunes from that time!
