In my undergrad at University at Buffalo, or UB, or SUNY UB, we had a wonderful course called construction technology. A major component of this class was using a set of 2D construction drawings to create an axonometric drawing using AutoCAD. This was a labor of love and took many, many hours. I really enjoyed this and learned a lot about how materials are layered and assembled to make walls, floors, roofs, and ultimately create a building.
